Its life has been fairly easy so far, the case above the screen does not
feel as tough as the one on my old Compaq but I have had no problems.
Weight
- not bad at all, couldn't tell you figures etc. Power - it is great,
gets a
little hot underneath after a while but don't they all. The cooling fan
seems very capable, when it kicks in the back is like a hair drier.

With regard to the important stuff though, the gizmos, the touchpad is a
programable LCD screen that can act as a calculator, numeric keypad
etc...
and it has harman kardon speakers with, believe it or not, a sub-woofer
in
the underside :o)
