Steve,
I had the exact same problem. However, I got the OWA to work by enabling
Basic authentication in the owa publishing rule, instead of forms based
authentication. I have enabled forms based authentication in the
Exchange 2003 front end server HTTP virtual server. Everything is
working fine now.

Regards,

Raj

OK, I still can't get external access to secure owa.

Both SSL and non SSL have been enabled on the site, I can connect no
bother to the ordinary site externally, but cannot connect ssl.

It works from within the network exactly as it should on both, but from
outside, when I put in my credentials on the login form, same error as
before, namely

UNKNOWN REQUEST

The request could not be resolved by the server

the address that this page comes from is
https://www.outlook.mine.nu/CookieAuth.dll?logon

still stuck...help

Steve

Hi Guys

Finally got around to upgrading my own ISA2k4 server today....Everything
except OWA, (2003), is working.

When I connect to the url...https://www.outlook.mine.nu the cert gets
presented ok....I click ok and up comes the login screen. Cool I thought
no issues here....nope...I was wrong.

As soon as I enter my credentials, yup, in the form of optimum-it\steve
and valid password, I get a screen that informs me that :-

UNKNOWN REQUEST

The request could not be resolved by the server

the address that this page comes from is
https://www.outlook.mine.nu/CookieAuth.dll?logon

It was working flawlessly with ISA 2k......I am stuck....help

PS I have split dns, OWA works fine from within the network. even over
the vpn, so I don't believe that its the web server...must be ISA

Thanks

Steve
