RE: Single NIC and proxy chaining

I want to make sure that BOX1 -- BOX2 indeed chains correctly.
I like to follow the logs and determine that when I look at
BOX1 logs that I can see in BOX2 logs the path between the 2 systems.

I'm not seeing that sometimes for what ever reason, the path goes to
BOX3 and if a box were being used as a true proxy, would it not need
2 NIC'S?

Just a question.

Joseph

The number of NICs is irrelevant to web proxy chaining.
What is the problem you're trying to solve, Joe?

Hi All,

I'm wondering if it is a good idea to have a proxy server that is proxy
chained out to another server

to only contain 1 NIC card?

Thank you,

Joseph
