Same problems as with any spam filter. The answer to "What is spam" is subjective. Simply taking the borg approach by assimilating everybody's Outlook "reject pile" could cause quite a mess. If you used that information to populate some type of Bayesian filter though, the results would/should be properly "weighted" based on the number of submissions you get from your user base. So one person rejecting wsjournal.com doesn't throw the execs into a tizzy. But 25 people rejecting jimharrisongonewild.com will result in those emails ending in the appropriate bit bucket. One thing though in a corporate envionment, you can actually store the adult content senders and junk senders in the all users section and that can be stored on a share so that all users can benefit from the inclusion of those text files. I'll either create a small c# console program or use vbscript to do the processing of those items in the adult content and junk mail senders text files. It will do a reverse lookup and then apply the data according to the following sample code. http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/isa/isaexte n_73lf.asp I'll try and have this posted or out to isatool.org this week.
