I didn't create the HTTPS filter. I think server publishing rule
automatically opens it.

Server publishing knowledge base article Q298900. States I can leave a
certificate on a server and create a server publishing rule. This will
inturn allow to have only one certicate and to leave it on the web server.
I can not get this to work. I figure that I am missing somthing.
