Those were the details.

I did find something on EventID.net that pointed me to the command
XEXCH50. I then found a KB article (812455) about that command, which I
entered into the SMTP filter. Since entering that command into the SMTP
filter 10 minutes ago, the error has not recurred. I'll keep watching
for it.

Hello all--

This weekend I also put my Exchange server onto my ISA 2004 server. This
all seems to be going fine, but an error is coming up in the Application
log of the ISA server every couple of minutes: "An unknown SMTP command
was used." Source: Smtp Evt, Event ID: 20031. Mail seems to be flowing
normally. Is this a problem? It'd be nice to get the errors to go away.

Related info: The message screener is installed on a separate computer
(not on the ISA server or the Exchange server), but I haven't been
directing SMTP traffic through it yet. Later today or tomorrow.

Thanks,
Rob
