You really can't get another NIC?

Oh- I didn't get that. You want to filter all traffic through the ISA by port forwarding through the NetGear just to the ISA box even though the other boxes are on the same segment with a single NIC? Get another NIC dude!
Whattayadoin? Spending all your money on beer?

Harder rule based and app filtering of inbound crap :) as you know, you cant filter by ip with that linksys. Maybe until the sveasoft firmware comes into play.

Sure, it'll work... But what is the ISA server there for? You got a 3rd leg there? (Remember, *family list*)

http://www.ISAserver.org
Hi guys
Need some brain help on a Sunday night. The situation im dealing with is this and I want to know if it is possible.
Router at the edge. Port forwarding to the isa machine (single nic, same internal ip range as the router and the clients) gateway of the isa is the routers internal ip. However I would like to know if I can use the routers internal ip as the gateway for the snat clients, thereby bypassing the isa for outbound traffic.
I know I really could use the isa to filter my outbound stuff but I want to know if this will work in a single nic environment. Or will I have problems with the internal and external network sets on the isa 2004 machine.
Router: External: 210.27.98.12 Internal ip : 192.168.100.1
ISA: Internal: 192.168.100.2 Gateway: 192.168.100.1
Clients: 192.168.100.3-254 Gateway: 192.168.100.1
I hope that makes sense. I cant think anymore!
Thanks
Greg
