Hello,

I am running on ISA 2004 but I believe that it will run on either 2000
or 2004, don't quote me on it though.

Interesting...
What ISA versions do they support?

Subject: [isalist] Rewriting URLs on ISA

http://www.ISAserver.org

Hello,

I have been using a product from Helicon Tech for quite some time to
rewrite URLs on IIS. Their product call ISAPI rewite allows the use of
Regular Expressions to rewite URLs in just about any way you like. In
addition their product includes conditionals that allow a high of degree
of flexibility in managing you URL name space.

I asked Helicon about the fesibility of using ISAPI rewrite on ISA 2004.
They
did so. I have been running the beta version for about two months.

Helicon has now released ISAPI rewrite for ISA.

The capability this product adds to both IIS and now ISA is fantastic.

For instance: With ISAPI rewrite and ISA you can configure a regular
expression that will cause a URL in the form or
http://<anything>Restricted<anything> to be rewritten as
https://<anything>Restricted<anything>. With the proper Listener
configuration this allows you to require Authenticaion for any URL that
contains the string Restricted.

I have found this product extremely useful. There are a great number
situations were this capablity reduces a complex set of Web publish
rules to trivial one.

ISAPI Rewrite can be downloaded from: http://www.helicontech.com

By the way I don't work for Helicon. I simply think their product is
great and I thought other ISA admins would find it useful.

Thanks

Bill

The haggis is unusual in that it is neither consistently nocturnal nor
diurnal, but instead is active at dawn and dusk (crepuscular), with
occasional forays forth during the day and night.
