Hi Tiago, Usually about $3000US. It sounds like a lot of money up front, but in fact it saves you a lot of money over time. For example, a customer has a full T1 line that they pay $600/month for unlimited bandwidth per month (that is to say, there are no bandwidth caps or bandwidth charges). They use T1 because of its high reliability because the Telco always comes and fixes the T1 fast. The customer wants to save some money. He buys RainConnect and gets a Cable Connection and a DSL line. The cable connection is $60US/month and the DSL line is also $60US/Month and each of these is rated at 1.5MB/s download and 384Kb/s upload. Total cost of this solution is $120US/month. Over a year, the cost of the T1 is 12*600=$7200US Over a year, the cost of DSL+Cable is 12*120=$1440 So, the cost of the Cable + DSL is $1440US per year and the T1 is $7200US per year. We save $480/month use the Cable + DSL connection. RainConnect then pays for itself over 3000/480=6.25 months. After 6.25 months, RainConnect has completely paid for itself and now you're saving $480/month free and clear. Plus, if either the cable or DSL line goes down, you still have connectivity. And when both lines are running, you get bandwidth aggregation for that you have 3Mbps down and 768 up. Its not a "hobbiest" solution (because the hobbiest isn't going to pay for T1 or T3 or anything like that) but if you want to save the costs of a typical high uptime solution, RainConnect really rocks. And what's cool is that bandwidth aggregation and failover are transparent, so you never even know that a line has gone down (unless you send an alert to yourself). Also, if you want to Web or Server Publish, RainConnect is VERY cool, because it allows you to do that, even when one of the lines is down. Cheapo alternatives like fail over scripts or ProTurbo 800-like boxes don't do that. A customer of mine wants to do load balance between a leased line and a could of DSL's. Is it worth?
