1. I am going to AND WILL SUCCEED connecting a Sonicwall to a ISA with a VPN between the 2. 2. There is documentation, either on ISAServer.org or on Microsoft.com on creating a site to site VPN between ISA and a few other firewalls, probably such as Cisco and a few others. You will have to search, as I do not have the links handy. None have worked so far. All the hardware "VPN" devices support pptp, or L2TP and a one supposedly supports IPSec, but the problem is that they assume that you are using the linksys device as your VPN endpoint, not to tunnel to another device like an ISA server. They need some type of PPTP client, not the server. For each of the devices tested (And you have no way of finding this out until you download the entire manual from their website, or purchase the router and then call tech support.) the only supported tunneling method is to have the same device on both ends. Remote_Office <-_-> Linksys <---> INTERNET <---> Linksys <---> Home_Office If you crack this one, I would be interested to find out how. We are trying to do some hardware based VPN to ISA to support our new VOIP telephones. We currently can only use the soft IP phones on our laptops. Is it possible? I also have doubts about this device. Has anyone ever used it? -----Mensagem original----- De: cismic [mailto:cismic@xxxxxxx] Enviada: sáb 5/29/2004 17:13 Para: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Cc: Assunto: [isalist] RE: LINKSYS firewall router and ISA connections ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist ISA Server Newsletter: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/newsletter.asp ISA Server FAQ: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: World of Windows Networking: http://www.windowsnetworking.com Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 Exchange Server Resource Site: http://www.msexchange.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: tiago@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub') ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist ISA Server Newsletter: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/newsletter.asp ISA Server FAQ: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: World of Windows Networking: http://www.windowsnetworking.com Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 Exchange Server Resource Site: http://www.msexchange.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: rdzek@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe visit http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist Tenha proteção contra vírus e spam para seu servidor de correio pagando apenas uma pequena mensalidade!
