Aha! Now if someone can tell me why my African coworker made the comment about
"he was chewing my brain," then all my cultural boggles will be solved.

Here in Brazil kids usually call someone older who they don't know as Uncle.

I also don't know where this thing came from =)

Hi Ed,

Yes, that was a good one. I'm still curious as to the cultural significance, as
that sort of thing doesn't come from no where.

Wasn't there some guy on the list calling you Uncle? I liked that one the best.

Hi Georges,

First, its either Dr. Shinder or Tom. I prefer the latter. I haven't been "Mr."
for almost 15 years :)

From what I can tell, your have an internal network client that can't access
some type of Oracle application on the external network. When the client is
configured as a SecureNAT client it works, when its configured as a Firewall
client, it doesn't work.

Is that right?

Thanks!
Tom

After a very long and exhosting resarch still couldn't solve that :
In My Internal Network:
Oracle server and oracle client
all features and application are working when i install and run ISA server and
Isa Fierwall Client
only one application fail and make the pc(client Oracle developper )
application freze and stop responding :
This application is the host command it makes her Jobe whatever it is but it
doesn't continue to next step so if I uninstall the fierwall client it works
normally.I use ISA as gateway and proxya nd dns server.
PS: Even if i disable the fierwall this command don't work i have to Uninstall
it .The host command is an oracle command.
