Hi Ricky, Check ISAserver.org again. I thought I saw a several part series on NLB and how it works. In fact, I think several enterpirse partners said it was the best description of NLB they seen; even a guy from MCS was rumored to say the same thing! I am currently working on a project to configure two ISA 2000 servers in Windows 2003 w/ Load Balancing and Fault Tolerance. Each servers have two NICs. ISA1 NIC1 (LAN): 10.100.1.1/24 NIC2 (WAN for DSL): DHCP ISA2 NIC1 (LAN): 10.100.2.1/24 NIC2 (WAN for DSL): DHCP I was successfully using 10.100.1.1 in ISA1 for the NLB interface and create Virtual IP 10.100.1.10. When I tried to make to 10.100.2.1 to become the NLB interface, it said "NLB not bound". Why? I was using unicast mode and define the port rule as mutiple host - single. I tried to search in isaserver.org and microsoft about how to setup a NLB in different LAN segment, but no luck. Why it doesn't work?? Is it possible that I can make the windows OS load balancing under different network segment? Would you please lead me in the right direction? Please advice, Thanks alot Ricky ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist ISA Server Newsletter: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/newsletter.asp ISA Server FAQ: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: World of Windows Networking: http://www.windowsnetworking.com Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 Exchange Server Resource Site: http://www.msexchange.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: tshinder@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe visit http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist
