you don't need to publish it if it's only for outgoing mail, you can't
publish more than one anyhow.

Subject: [isalist] Publishing another SMTP Server through ISA

http://www.ISAserver.org

I need some help publishing an SMTP server through ISA. Anytime I
attempt to create the secure mail server I get the following error:

ISA Server cannot save the properties

There is already a rule that defines a mapping for the external port and
IP address specified.

All I'm trying to do is enable my postnuke website, which resides on a
separate server, to send mail to users that attempt to join the site. I
have a separate internal exchange server published thru ISA that hosts
mail for mail.nusolutions.net. This new site is nubiint.com.

I have an SMTP Relay filter installed on the ISA server and the Message
Screener configured for the internal mail server.

I installed the SMTP service on the web server and configured it to use
its internal IP

I have a total of 3 static IP's assigned to the external interface:

  Gateway

  www.mysite.com

  mail.mysites.com

I installed the Message Screener on the SMTP, web, server.

I created a new domain, the same mail domain as the internal mail
server, mail.nusolutions.biz, under Default Virtual Server

I copied and ran SMTPCred.exe on the SMTP, web, server

I attempt to publish the server as a secure mail server using the
following options:

Publish these mail services: Incoming SMTP

External IP of ISA: 205.179.209.99 same one used for
mail.nusolutoions.biz

At this IP address: IP of SMTP, web, server

I already have a SMTP Filter and Relay rule published using the same IP
of the external interface.

What am I doing wrong? Do I have to add another static IP to the
interface of the ISA and use it?

Any responses are appreciated.

Thanks
