Re: Ports Information Required

1 - yes
2 - no proxy settings in IM client
3 - run MSNIM.vbs only at ISA server
4 - IM client must not be running; that is "exit" option; log off of IM network
does not break connection to FW client

  Hi!

Thanks for your reply. Please clear me some points.

1.I have assign my server IP Address on every clients MSN
Messenger>Tools>Option>Connection>I use Proxy Server (192.168.0.1 Ip of my
chating server port 1080) . Please inform me this right setting for File
Transfering and Voice Chat. Only text base chating going perfectly on the above
mentioned setting (file transfering and voice chat done only on my local area
network).

Question About your MSN IM.vbs installation

  1. ISA Firewall client necessery on each client.

2.Proxy setting define on client end MSN Messenger or use without proxy

3.MSN IM.vbs install at every client end ,and already installed FW Client on
client end remove it and reinstall again.

                                                  or

4.MSN IM.vbs just install on ISA Server and FW Client just refresh on every
client end.

  5. I am sorry to say i Can't understand what do u mean by exit (not just
logoff) MSN IM from all clients.

Thank you in advance for you reply

  Best Regards

Voice and video only work if the caller is not behind a NAT device.
File transfer and other non-chat features require that the internal host
has the firewall installed and that the proper ISA settings are in place.
    1. Get this script: http://isatools.org/msnim.vbs
    2. exit (not just logoff) MSN IM from all clients
    3. run the script on the ISA
    4. install (refresh) the FW client on all hosts
    5. restart MSN IM
