Just thought I'd toss this out.

W2K3 SP1 supports interhost communications between NLB cluster nodes
when using Unicast mode on servers with only one network interface
through the use of a Registry key.  URL to KB article is below:

I find it interesting that Microsoft acknowledged this was a "problem".
