The migration was provided in the form of an export / import tool.

The changes to ISA 2006 storage schema (from customer requests) dictated
a separation from ISA 2004.

Backwards compatibility is never as simple as everyone seems to think.

There was no simple migration between ISA 2000 & ISA 2004 either.

Just wait until the ForeFront solutions to finally gel if you think
migration is tough now.

But I'm not coming from SBS I'm a full time ISA2004 victim, I mean user.

What about next version, it will be an option to migrate?

That is the part I like from you, your facility with the words. ;-)

So everything from scratch! ...k why Microsoft do this kind of stupid
things, do anybody knows if there is a reason beside to giving me more
work?

I postponed all I could to migrate ISA, but looks like I will
have to do it right now and I'm wondering how.

Basically in my WAN I have to main hub offices, on each of those
office I have:

        - 4 arrays with 2 servers each, plus 1 CSS in office 1
and a backup CSS on office 2.

My main question is, can I migrate the CSSs to 2006 and keep the
array members on 2004 to start migrating gradually?

If not, the only option is to build a new CSS and start
migrating the arrays one by one?

Al the servers are Windows 2003 EE with SP1 and all the updates,
and ISA 2004 SP1 with updates.

        Thanks guys
