If you would like to see user names you must enable ISA to force clients
to authenticate. It can be done on the server properties on Servers and
Arrays.
Go to Outgoing Web Requests tab and select Ask unauthenticated users for
identification.

I have already created rule. Another point i want to mention is that if

view firewall sessions it does not show username field blank. Probably
ISA
is unable to recognize the user name and so maybe it is the problem of
security settings. Please comment

msn is using port 1863. create a protocol rule alowing the people u want
outgoing on this port.

I need help regarding MSN Messenger behined ISA Server. Although it is
working fine and data is communicating through ISA Server. BUT, when in
protocol rules i change from 'any request' to specific groups it stops
communicating. Infact i want to restrict the access to MSN for partiular
group of people.
