Hi Scott, Is the ISA firewall also a domain controller? Thanks! All went well until I came in this morning and all my Firewall clients called me to tell me they couldn't get on the internet. I did a little research and found that the DNS name of my ISA (RRAS-VPN) Server was not being advertised correctly. The Internal (Routing) interface (which I found out is needed for RRAS) is getting an IP address from my DHCP server and this address was being broadcast coming from ISA server, not the static one that I set and the Firewall client is looking for. Does anyone know a way around this to prevent this from happening in the future? Thanks in advance, Scott. ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist ISA Server Newsletter: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/newsletter.asp ISA Server FAQ: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 Exchange Server Resource Site: http://www.msexchange.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: tshinder@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub')
