RE: Isa server amd Sharepoint

Hi David,

We don't use a proxy to connect our Sharepoint Server. We must connect
it from internet using Web Folders. It seems that authentication for IIS
works fine, but authentication using Web Folders can't pass through ISA
server.

Thanks.

If you are trying to authenticate to your STS behind your ISA, you need
to add the FQDN header to your STS virtual site and in the IE properties
execption rule.

At your web server you need to enter a FQDN header to your STS website,
ensure your internal DNS FQDN record resolves to your internal ip
address.

Then configure your IE browser:

Where:

        Internet Properties
                |_ Connection Tab
                        |_ LAN Settings
                                |_ Proxy Server Section - Advanced...
                                        |_ Exceptions Section

Enter your FQDN, example: *.isaserver.org

Subject: [isalist] Isa server amd Sharepoint

Hello,

I've a back to back configuration with 2 Isa servers. I've a Sharepoint
Server in my internal lan published as a Web server.

I cannot access through Web folders to my sharepoint (incorrect user or
password), but authentication via Web works without problem. If I
publish the server (not via Web publishing) the authentication via web
folders and web works fine.

Any idea?

Thanks in advance.
