Re: ISA VER. Small Business Server

I windows 2000 server boxed version could I install that first and then
just install ISA and from SBS and other add-ons. I'm just using all this
software as a learning tool. It just runs at my home with 4 other
machines but just in the last 3 months I have put a bunch of stuff in
the old gored of mine. Thanks for your time
Ken

You also may want to familiarize yourself with the limitations of SBS in
other areas as well. SBS includes a limited version of Windows 2000
Server
missing some features in full verssions such as the ability to trust
other
domains. There are other features that are not fully functional in SBS,
just make sure that you have read everything you can find about it so
that
you're not surprised when you do the install.

IMHO, it's a shame that MS decided to retire the full BackOffice Suite.
It
really seems like a niche product that had finally found its prime and
then
MS goes and decides that it was too good a deal and decided to quit
sselling
it.

Hope this helps,
