I am now considering to re-build a new SQL db on one SQL server and change the logging setting of ISA2k4 into that SQL server, if it works, there won't be a overflow of log files, right?
http://www.ISAserver.org
Generic PIII-733, 512MB RAM, 1x 40GB EIDE. Only problem ever encountered was when MSDE choked on too many log files.
..Of course, I now have a script running daily to prevent this.

Oh, In additional to that, database engine like SQL 2000 will be served by other server I/O On this ISA2K4 box for Web Filtering. That's what I hope the whole function on one box At safty conditions (= try to minimize serivce at ISA side).

Tom,
But this ISA2K4 box needs function of 1) Firewall 2) Webcaching 3) Web filtering (like Surfcontrol Web Filter) 4) plus GFI Download security
Still that server is within good capcity?

Hi Roy,
As long as you don't want or require Web caching, that's more than enough.

In case of 50-100 user within Lan, whether below server's configuration is quite enough for ISA 2K4 server with no slowing down internet access: Dell PowerEdge 700A - CPU: Pentium 2.8G - RAM: 512M - HD: 36G 10,000RPM SATA (I/O SCSI)
Thanks,
