RE: ISA Server, IE, Yahoo Games

1) When you enable BASIC authentication, it is quite normal that
it asks you for a username and password each time you try to reach
internet. If you look at the Sun site for Java plug-in and basic Proxy
authentication, you will see the same.

2) If your Java application can run under java plug-in 1.3.1_01,
you should use this plug-in with ISA server. Because after setting up
the browser (IE) for the proxy server, then this plug-in runs smoothly.

3) The small program comes with a readme file. You should read it
first. As I said, it is a kind of proxy, and must be placed in between
your ISA server and pc. Try to install it on the pc, not to ISA server
itself. By the way, you should first install phyton on the PC before
running this little soft. This is also explained in the readme file.

More importantly, I said "do one of these". Anyone of the above
suggestions will make the Java plug-in run through the ISA server. There
is no need to try all of them.

If you ask me, I will suggest using solution number 2 (it is the easiest
way). But at some sites, I have used solution number 3. For solution
number 1, you must remember that you will change the whole
authentication mechanism for accessing internet from inside. This will
affect everybody inside, and some might complain about it when it asks
for authentication each time.

Good luck,
