Hi gurus,

talking about experience, looking into the documentation I came up to this:

Up to 500 users
Single ISA Server computer with Pentium II, 300 MHz
256Mb RAM
2-4 Gigabytes Cache

500-1,000 users
Single ISA Server computer with two Pentium III, 550 MHz processors
256Mb RAM
10 Gigabytes Cache

More than 1,000 users
Two ISA Server computers, each with Pentium III, 550 MHz, processors
256Mb RAM for each server
10 Gigabytes for each server

I'm planning to deploy a firewall with caching capabilities for 650 users
and 3 web servers with less than 100 hits/sec. The problem is that the
customer has only a one processor ISA license, but a Intex XEON 2GHZ server
with 1GB RAM and 32GB disk available. I truly fell this will handle the job
very well, but how can I be sure? Should I recommend a second server?

Thanks

Daniel

Daniel you're welcome. Make sure you'll pop in again to see what the
authorities can tell you. They have lot more experience.
