Interesting - I might expect that if CSS responded on standard LDAP
ports, but it shouldn't unless you've changed it.

I just did a search in AD for the computer and when it comes up in the
results window, it shows the server name and the machine role and it's
showing the role of Domain Controller.

How are you determining that the server appears in the "role of a DC"?

If a server is an ISA server and running ADAM and you query AD by name
of the server, is it normal that the server comes back under the role of
Domain Controller? But if I query for just DC's in the domain, that
server doesn't show up? I am really checking to see if this is normal
behavior or I have some weird issues.

Thanks,

Alex
