Hi Sean,

Why disable the ISA firewall's firewall? Sort of like taking three tires off a
Corvette, isn't it?

Subject: [isalist] ISA 2004, caching only.

http://www.ISAserver.org

Is there any walk-thru on installing ISA 2004 in caching mode *only*,
on a single interface?

This is good but its on 2004:
http://www.isaserver.org/tutorials/Designing_An_ISA_Server_Solution_on_a_Simple_NetworkPart_1_Configuring_The_Network_Infrastructure.html

Someone else has the same issue:
http://forums.isaserver.org/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=19;t=000292

Supposing theres no walk-thru availiable is the advice given here...

"Install ISA 2004 and use the single NIC network template...then just
enable caching..."

...as simple as all that? For example, how is the firewall component
switched off? Can I just stop the firewall service?

Any pointers appreciated.
