ISA 2004 doesn't have "cache mode" like ISA 2000. ISA 200x handles the services states; you NEVER manually mangle the ISA services. It deals in "network model" only. Yes, you'll have to add caching manually. This is good but its on 2004: http://www.isaserver.org/tutorials/Designing_An_ISA_Server_Solution_on_a_Simple_NetworkPart_1_Configuring_The_Network_Infrastructure.html Someone else has the same issue: http://forums.isaserver.org/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=19;t=000292 Supposing theres no walk-thru availiable is the advice given here... "Install ISA 2004 and use the single NIC network template...then just enable caching..." ...as simple as all that? For example, how is the firewall component switched off? Can I just stop the firewall service? Any pointers appreciated. - Seán Carr ___________________________________________________________ALL-NEW Yahoo!
