Thanks for the replies on this.

Surfcontrol have told me to make sure ISA is in caching-only mode (as
Surfcontrol web filter is the one that's to do the filtering).

Surfcontrol did say to disable the firewall but certainly not by
stopping the firewall service...that was just a question I was putting!
Mea culpa etc.

The unicast template seems the way forward as it disables the firewall
and enables caching - but *not* by the stopping the firewall service
one assumes ;=)
