can you "ping isaserver" from the client and get a fast name resolution?
have you tried using the ISA IP address in the UI instead of the name?

Subject: [isalist] Firewall client

http://www.ISAserver.org

I installed the ISA Firewall client on my client computer. The client
computer got an icon in the toolbar. This icon displays wether or not the
client is connected to ISA server. I have to double click the icon and
then chose update so that it says that i am connected to ISA server.
Otherwise the icon shows "cannot find any isa server". This happens all
the time.

Can someone please help me get rid of this little problem.

Sincerely

Patrik
