This has been my experience also. However with hardware NAT services below $100 -think Lynksys broadband router, most folks at home or in small offices are behind a NAT firewall. Is the situation the same for the AOL IM? Probably so. But what then, perhaps Netmeeting. Is there a tutorial out there somewhere I can use as a template to get that working? -----Original Message----- From: Greg Mulholland [mailto:greg@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, February 15, 2005 11:54 PM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] FW: RE: about webcam behind Isaserver http://www.ISAserver.org *amended* You cant use yahoo or msn voice or video from behind an isa server. The only way you can accomplish this is if "your buddies" are not behind a NAT firewall and they are the initiators of the connection to you. Greg -----Original Message----- From: Peter W. I get lonely for my buddies around the World while I work in NYC and would love to be able to do video IM or to publish a Web cam from behind my SBS2000 edition of ISA 2000. But my efforts too to date have been to no avail. If anyone has different information I would love to hear it. -----Original Message----- From: Steve Moffat [mailto:steve@xxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, February 15, 2005 3:07 PM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: about webcam behind Isaserver http://www.ISAserver.org Upgrade to Zonealarm... You cant. The person you wish to share video and chat with has to initiate the connection to you.
