Re: FW: ISA VPN-VPN connection and name resolution

Good add-on; is one domain related to the other in any way?

  Add on:

From the ISA server at Domain 1 it is possible to ping a FQDN on site 2.

From a client on site 1 it isn't possible to ping a FQDN on site 2

Site 1 and site 2 are different domains ..

Onderwerp: ISA VPN-VPN connection and name resolution

  Hi List,

I hope someone can help me with this question:

  Situation:

  2 x Windows 2000 Domain

  2x ISA Server Enterprice Edition

I have set up an VPN-VPN (local-remote) connection.

  I can ping from site 1 (192.168.0.X) to site 2 (192.168.1.X) fine.

The VPN connection is working .

I want to use FQDN e.g. w2ks01.domain.com instead of the IP adres 192.168.1.1

Of course this has everything to do with DNS, but I don't know how to setup
the DNS for different (not local) site.

Does anyone has some ideas ?

  With regards,

  Ruben Spruijt
