64 is a WinSock error - "The specified network name is no longer available".
Can you ping/resolve said web site?

Hi Mark

Thanks, but there are no errors in logs regarding failures for the website I
am trying to access. This makes me even more convinced that I am being
singled out as having "denied access". I have tried contacting my ISP to see
if they have the same error (as they are emanating from the same block of
IP's that I am) but they appear to access the site just fine.

BTW, also tried clearing my cache, just in case, but still no go.

Cheers

Bermuda? Man you're lucky :)

I did a quick search and I only found a socket error 64, but this didn't
turn up usable results. Have you checked the log files and event logs?

Hi there

Does anyone have more info on the IExplorer error 64 which says that the
Host is not available? The thing is I can access many websites, but so far 2
websites have escaped me with this error message.

As far as I am concerned, ISA would tell me if access was denied, the site
does not exist or the connection timed out, but to tell me that it is
unavailable makes me think that specifically my IP Address has been blocked
or something. Is there perhaps a new fad which involves blocking WEB
requests the same as blocking unsolicited e-mail?

Comments?

Cheers

William R.
