Hi Tom,

The only fix that was ever released worked ONLY if you got the same IP that
you had before you disconnected.
http://isatools.org/resetsvrpubrules.zip is the only way to keep the SPR in
sync.

Hi Tiago,

Your server publishing rules will break if you receive a new address,
IIRC. I haven't worked with dial up for so long, I'm not sure if a fix
came out to prevent this problem. Back when I was servicing dial-up
accounts, publishing rules on dedicated IP address ISDN acccounts would
not come back up. You had to start them manually.

HTH,
Tom

Well, this one's a whole lot simpler than the OWA issue.

Sometime ago i had a Branch Office that was connected via a
router-to-router RRAS VPN connection using a PPPoE connection. Now we
don't have this branch Office anymore because they moved together with
us to our bigger Office =)

I was wondering what's the effect if the PPPoE connection drops
and reconnects while ISA Server is running, because the connection used
to be managed by RRAS itself. If i have something like uhhh... Terminal
services published, or if i have users accessing the Internet while this
happens, will everything work again automagically?

Thanks!
