co.za did indeed make my sh*tlist.
I received much spam from them and their responses were, shall we say; less
than exemplary.
Do you have a hotmail or other "freebie" account somewhere?

Jim
I tried replying to you "off-list" but had trouble with your mail
server. It would appear that my domain may be blacklisted with your
server. Could you clarify...?

We have disabled NETBIOS on the ISA Server to make it harder for users
to
illegally enter the network internally.
Will this have an affect on the internet bandwidth?

Most often, slow response through ISA is caused by poor name resolution.
You need to be absolutely sure that ISA can resolve internal and
external
names quickly.
There are several articles at www.isaserver.org that discuss ISA and DNS
configurations.
Also, the type of client request has a lot to do with it as well.

Well I have been struggling to sort out a problem we have. It seems we
have
a problem with our bandwidth. For some reason out of the 10MB bandwidth
(ADSL) we only ever receive around 2MB. Every user complains "the
internet
is too slow". We are using Rainconnect to aggregate the bandwidth. We
have
finally reached the following conclusions:
- Either we are receiving DOS attacks
- Kazaa or MSN messenger (I think Kazaa) is causing the bandwidth
degrading
- Or it maybe the ADSL routers

For the most part (proper configuration), ISA is self-protecting.
Is there a particular attack you're concerned about?
DoS is a generic term referencing any attack that reduces or completely
eliminates your network connectivity.
