Hi all,
I am not very experienced with ISA, this is my first installation and (of
course ) I have some troubles...
The comp (2003 Server, Ent. edition) was used as Routing and remote
access/VPN server, using the built-in funcionality of the 2003 server.
Since I have installed ISA 2004 on the comp, I am not able to dial-out to
ANY PPTP GW I used to use before. The settings were imported from the
RAS/VPN configuration, then modified by hand. I believe they are OK. The
strange thing is, I can not dial to any location, even not using the DUN.
I am using an Digitus ADSL NAT "router". All the other machines in the
home network are able to dial any PPTP connection, using exactly the same
DUN configuration. The Ethereal logs shows, that the request from ISA is
sent to the remote GW, the negotiations starts and the CHAP CHALLENGE
always fails. When I put the ISA machine into the DMZ part of the network,
everything works fine. When I deinstall ISA, everything works fine... ANY
ideas ?
Thanks in advance,
Podo.
