Hi Karl, I've noticed the same thing quite a bit recently. I haven't nailed down the cause yet, but you describe the exact situation I've had relatively frequently the last few days. Restarting the firewall service always fixes it, but it often resolves itself. Their default gateway points to the firewall. Every once in a while, I can no longer do nslookup's to my ISP's DNS servers from my internal DNS server. The client web access speed goes way down and pages start timing out. I am able to do nslookup's from the firewall and am able to reach the internet through the firewall. I also can plug in the firewall address as the proxy server and internet access is a lot faster. Has anyone else come accross this?
