Ok, so tht is your Internet-facing DNS server.
Enter its IP in the ISA DMZ NIC.
Enter the internal DNS server IP in the ISA internal NIC
Make sure your NICs are bound in this order:
- Internal
- DMZ
- External
- Remote Access

Mmmhhh...

DNS Server is in perimeter, installed on ms w2k3 machine, must resolve
internet name for local machine.
ISA is 2004 version and the domain is a ms w2k domain (native mode), with
DNS on ms w2k.

I hope understood your question...

Thank you,
gg

Shortest path, always.
Where does the cache DNS server refer to?

Hi.

Supposed Situation:

3 network:
        External (Internet)
        Perimeter (WEB+FTP+HODredirect)
        Internal (Local Domain)

?? Where put in the DNS Server for Internet Name Resolution ??

1 DNS Server In Perimeter (Cache only) & 1 DNS in Local Domain for local
name resolution with forwarding to DNS in the peimeter

Or

Only 1 DNS Server (in Internal Network)?

Thanks to all!
gg
