RE: DMZ

Hi Tom,

I would have 2 NICS on the web server and 2 NICS on the staging machine.
The staging machine will be used to just stage and pre-test content
before posting to the web machine. The web machine and staging machine
will be the only once with a direct connect via a managed switch.

Hi Joseph,

Are you wanting to have one NIC in the DMZ and one NIC on the private
network? If so, that doesn't seem like a good idea to me.

Hi All,

I'm thinking of adding a second NIC to one of my web servers in the DMZ
that will be connect to a secure network that is behind my second
firewall.
The machine that it will be attached to is a staging server that will
also have two NIC'S.

Does anyone see this as an issue? What would be a good way to secure
that connection since it's only going to be used to prop new material.
And, possible allow for the content management server to be used on the
staging server.

Thank you,

Joseph
