Hi John,

You can configure ME8 to relay inbound and outbound. I do it even with
the SMTP messages screener on the firewall, although I use it only for
attachment checking in that scenario.

No, normal AV software DOES NOT CHECK incoming and outgoing message
through
Exchange. You need specific software for that.
