Hi Fred, where do you download the fix? I am unable to download from the
link you provided. Please help...

As Tom said, you must call Microsoft to get it. It is free and you
just have to say what hotfix you need and they don not ask much questions.

I do not believe that I would be allowed to make it public. However,
this is not clear in the text file that accompanies the hotfix and the support
personel did not mention anything regarding distribution.

Anyone has something to say about this?

        Fred

Hello All!

Recently, I posted a message regarding content filtering with file
extensions that did not work. After some research, I found the solution to
the fact that ISA would not filter on file extension.

I found the KB article 813864 titled "FIX: Site and content rules do
not filter based on file name extensions"

I got the fix from Microsoft (it is not available to download since
it has not be fully tested), applied the solution and... Bingo! Everything
is now working as it should (for this matter anyway!!!).

I can block access to specific file extensions per user.

Hope this can help others in a similar situation.
