I reiterate this is not an ISA problem at all. As per my conversation with Jeff Sloan who made the original post on the fix, the fix is for IE on the client computer, not ISA server. Some one is erroneously painting this up to be related to ISA server. It is not. I would like to find a computer on a LAN that is having a problem access sites NOT BEHIND ISA but behind another firewall and apply the patch from MS to see if it fixes it without changing the packet size. I bet it will fix it. I have a feeling the wininet.dll file has something to do with the way packets are configured through IE. Note, have you tried the fix in my article? http://www.isaserver.org/tutorials/onlinebanking.html The heart of this problem is security on the Website John Tolmachoff MCSE CSSA Engineer/Consultant eServices For You www.eservicesforyou.com > -----Original Message----- > From: Don Blackshear [mailto:don.blackshear@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] > Sent: Sunday, September 14, 2003 10:27 AM > To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] > Subject: [isalist] Re: Brower Fix Issue > > http://www.ISAserver.org > > > Shinder, Harrison, .... > > I think it would be nice if the ISA site guru's could look into this issue > (perhaps with your MS engineering contacts) and find out what is going on > and recommend a best course of action. > > Currently we are using PCs outside ISA to connect to commerce-sites with > this problem. > > Last time I checked, MS did not have a "download patch" (we had to call them > to get it), and they recommended we wait (if possible) for a fix. > > > thx > > ------------------------------------------------------ > List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist > ISA Server Newsletter: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/newsletter.asp > ISA Server FAQ: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ > ------------------------------------------------------ > Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: > Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com > No.1 Exchange Server Resource Site: http://www.msexchange.org > Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ > Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ > Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com > ------------------------------------------------------ > You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: > johnlist@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub')
