Anti virus monitors on ISA server

hey question to the guru's.  Im building an ISA firewall and have Etrust
InoculateIT 6 on it.  Much improved since previous versions.  However
should i be running the monitor to monitor incoming/ outgoing files? or
one way? or none at all? Im thinking none at all with nightly virus scans
otherwise i think the monitor would hurt the performance.  All of our
clients have the monitor running to monitor all incoming files.  any tips
would be greatfully appreciated
