Unlikely most of mathematics, which is a consistent system on which you can create logical extrapolations, that's not the case with the ISA firewall (or any other software, in fact). So, for HTTP you can reach all destination ports for outbound HTTP connections. For HTTPS, you are limited to 443 by default. Make sense? If so, you were at the meeting I missed. There is a strong possibility that this applied only to SSL connections (https) but I do recall trying to access a webmin server on port 10000 via https and I was graced with a message saying I was trying to HTTP on a non-standard port and that ISA would not stand for that crap. The fix I found involved editing the registry, that's all I remember. It is probably irrelevant to the current situation, but maybe this will ring a bell in someone's head? ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist ISA Server Newsletter: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/newsletter.asp ISA Server FAQ: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Visit TechGenix.com for more information about our other sites: http://www.techgenix.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: paul.van.geldrop@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe visit http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist Report abuse to listadmin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx This e-mail and any attachment is for authorised use by the intended recipient(s) only.
