Hi bill,

*.sex.com is included in the destination set of my blacklisted sites and
works fine for me. It blocks both www.sex.com and sex.com. But I think
it won't do any harm but instead, further tighten your filter if you'll
include both *.sex.com and *sex.com in your destination set.

HTH,
JM

Subject: [isalist] A queestion about destinations sets

I'm setting up a filter to block access to non acceptable sites. I've
set
up a destination filter with the domain *.sex.com. It appears that this
blocks access to www.sex.com but not sex.com, uplike the syntax in proxy
server which would block both. So do I now have to make two entries,
sex.com and *.sex.com to block all access to the site?

Thanks,
Bill
