If the service is on the ISA server will the packet filter alone do or do I
need a publishing rule as well?

Hi Chris,

Protocol Rules are only for outbound access from LAT to non-LAT hosts.

Publishing Rules are used for inbound access.

NOTE: the nomenclature completely changes with ISA Server 2004 :-)
