Yeah, that wouldn't be a problem if you do it preemptively instead of waiting for it to crash... Ran into the 2GB limit last Friday, and boy did that mess things up! I added in a scheduled task to purge older traffic, but will have to wait to see how well it works. I'm not sure if I'd call my users "savy", they're just persistent. When I run the real-time monitor, I'm amazed at how often they try, over and over and over again. What is really amusing is when you see them try getting to a webmail site, then trying every different country's version of it, then trying variations on the name, etc... -----Original Message----- From: Dan Crain [mailto:DanC@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, April 28, 2005 23:25 To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: A Question? Or just an observation... http://www.ISAserver.org Well, luckily my users aren't as savy as yours...I did the color to Real Time Monitor awhile ago...nice feature...I change the database one a month too just because I ran into a similar problem and it slowed the connection down to almost dial up speed.....we mainly do reports on the last couple of weeks so it's not a problem to start with a new database and it keeps things moving...
