504 proxy timeout

Hi all,
We have an isa server 2004 installed on one network adapter, connected
to two routers that are secured by a pix firewall, we are receiving a
504 proxy timeout error message on some https websites when connecting
from the clients, but if we connect directly from a client machine
behind the pix ((not from ISA) we could connect without any problem.
The client machines are web proxy clients
Any ideas.
