Re: 2004 Firewall too fast

Tom,

All you need to do it add rules to ISA until you're down to the speed
that you desire. For instructions on how to add rules see Tom Shinders
excellent book...oh, never mind.

Why not just request a downgrade from your T1 to, say, a 56k connection?

Try sticking a big magnet on the external Ethernet cable. Works for me
every time I'm getting more bandwidth than I pay for..

I have a full T1 link, so I'm supposed to get 1.5 up and down.

When I do downloads, I see rates indicating that I'm getting 2.5+ down.

I think my ISA firewall is going too fast. What can I do to slow it down
so that my ISP doesn't get confused? Should I get rid of it and get a
PIX or Netscream?

(true story -- now how's that to a counter for the "ISA slowed down my
300 baud modem connection?)
