Hm, sorry, I can't resist and I have to "defend" Ingo here. I never had the impression that Ingo thinks he's the big guy. I asked him for help multiple times and he's always been very kind.

I can't say what I don't know! All I know was that in 3 emails in which we spoked he was very forthcoming and authoritative!
And also if you look in the emails that he sent to openbeos or interfacekit list you would observe a "top->down looking" from him!

And compare that with how Erik, Mark, you, DW are talking!!!
Marcus is also a good guy, but he has "a thing" with me - I can live with that, because most of the time he talks nicely.

IMO, Ingo thinks he knows to much and he makes a good effort to show it!

I'm sure there are many applications that use multiple horizontal or vertical resizing constants (in fact, I didn't even know you should use only one, and I'm sure I screwed that thing in many apps of mine), and still, they work in BeOS R5. So I guess we should take into account (if we can) those apps, since they work in R5 and should work in OBOS neverthless.

But, we are talking that in account, if no valid resizing mode is found, the default one: B_FOLLOW_LEFT | B_FOLLOW_BOTTOM is used.
There are no problems witch could result if you combine illegal flags. You app will just not work as you expect, thus rushing you back to the BeBook. :-)
