    Yes, and for that, window_feel(1024) is enough.
        B_NO_BORDER_WINDOW_LOOK will work just fine instead of (4).


Ah, okay, I missed that one. Since OpenTracker uses it, why not just making it the same internally? Something like:
if (look == kPrivateDesktopWindowLook)
look = B_NO_BORDER_WINDOW_LOOK;
