[interfacekit] build broken

It looks like the latest changes in the messaging code broke the build of some
things.

For one, the input server doesn't build anymore, as it's not been updated to the
new messaging interface.

Same thing for "Appearance" preference app, and also View.cpp has some errors.

At least, judging from here:

Can someone fix this ?
